Anyone else can't edit skater info?

I have been trying to create a skater for two days, but it will not let me edit my name or hometown. Is anyone else getting this issue? If so, does anyone know a fix? I have pressed every button I can think of and nothing does it. I am on a PS5 Pro for reference.
