Do you feel satisfied with this game?

I just got it for the steam sale and I've only been playing for about a week and I am absolutely in love with this game! But while looking into it to decide if I should buy, I saw so many negative posts and comments from people who said they were disappointed, thought the game felt unfinished and even saw some saying they felt like they were scammed. A lot of then were from a few years ago and I know there's been a couple updates since then, so at this point now, how do you feel about the game? I havent gotten very far yet, just about midway through Summer 1 right now and havent started romancing anyone yet. But I just got to the merfolk kingdom and about to finish the water floor of the caverns and so far I feel like there's just endless amounts of fun to be had. Have they added enough in the updates to make people feel like the game is more completed now, or do people still feel like it's unfinished? I also saw people saying there was no ending to the game, is that true? (without spoilers?)
