If you were going to run away and live in your car/or camp for a little while to save finances, where in the US would be the best place? Coming from somewhere in/around Central Kentucky…?

Where would you recommend one to go where there are low cost/free campgrounds, that have a decent town or city nearby that could help you gain finances to continue to travel or even possibly build a life? The place would have to be peaceful, kind, slow, friendly, with lots of green, fertile lands to explore trails and plant life. Safe. A 24 hour gym, water/washing access, lakes/pay lakes, land, forests, safe parking, safe places to bed down, parks, plant/wildlife. I wouldn't mind leaving the state, I've never done that before but I welcome new experiences I would just like to find somewhere safe where I can rest for a while.
