Can you request an official English translation for a manga?

First time here sorry if this has been asked a thousand times! But if there’s a manga/series that’s only available in Japanese, are there ways to request that an official English version be sold? Like email a publishing company (Seven Seas, Kodansha, Yen Press, etc) and put in a request for an official translation?

Now obviously they’re only going to create and sell ones they believe will make money due to high demand so I’m not expecting anything to come out of one person asking of course, but I wanted to know if they ever ask the public? Like on Twitter or something if they ask what works people would like to see translated officially?

Just curious thanks!
