Deciding to do a Masters in Software Engineering with a degree in Business Studies

I recently graduated with a degree in Business Studies. My parents recommended me to do a masters in Artificial Intelligence due to how significant it is now and I was checking it out. However, software engineering seemed to catch my interest as I’ve always been somewhat interested in the development of websites, apps etc. It’s just always been in the back of my mind, but it’s not like I loved it in any way.

Would it be a good idea to do this masters in Software Engineering with my degree in Business Studies? Is it a bad choice as both are completely unrelated? I did check it out in the universities here and there is a pre-requisite I would have to take for 1 month in order to proceed with the masters program.

I’m sort of in a dilemma on whether I should just stick to looking for a job related to my business degree to keep it safe, or get my masters in Software Engineering.
