I quit my job today

I have been balancing two full time jobs for a few weeks now. One has treated me like garbage. So I quit today. I was berated for being selfish and stupid for giving up the extra income. I started thinking... How many of us are just out there working jobs that underpay, underappreciated, or just generally, as in my case, treat us awful, but we stay because we're poor and desperate... Working two full time jobs and being put down for giving one up? Most people would praise someone for having ONE full time job. Because I'm poor I'm terrible for only working one... Make it make sense... I'm so exhausted. Key points to why I quit: One particular manager liked to demean employees constantly. They called me "retarded" in front of customers Put me down about my weight Had people stalk my social media and send screen shots to the general manager Called me a liar when a family member died recently. That's just the worst offences. HR didn't even respond to my inquiry.
