Airline misplacing golf bag

Flew home from Seattle yesterday, checked in and was asked to bring my golf bag to the oversized drop off (not uncommon). Fly home and golf bag is still in Seattle. Never made it on the first flight this morning to my home location. The bag has a air tag and the airlines have received our email with tracking info and location. I cant get any cooperation from them confirming its physical locatiion (which shows it at the airport terminal location), airline said a "supervisor" we be looking into this matter. Am I going to see this bag again?
