S4 Why Wasn’t There A Plan At The Prison, Or Reconstruction?

No Spoiler

WARNING: RANT of a MADMAN! 🤣

So after many years I have finally restarted TWD. I only watched until Neegan came into the picture then stopped. That is not the reason I write this now.

I am currently as of this writing on Season 4, Episode 9 (right after the 2nd prison attack by the Governor). I now question every decision that was made post 1st attack on the prison.

You would think after the first attack that Rick and the new council would have truly started working on a stronger defense along the perimeter. We see that the front gate was reinforced, but the fence line was left as is with logs propping up weak points where the walkers congregate. Which brings me to this question, why would the WHOLE group (not just the core) not tag the walkers DAILY to keep them from piling up? Anyone with common sense knows, the more weight put on something the more pressure is added against the fence or wall or glass.

The next thing is the vehicles spread out, yes there were walkers in the field, but as we know with just a few people they can stake out the stragglers and grab the vehicles (I mean cmon michone took out more than half a dozen just to get her 2 new backpack walkers lol)

The prison itself: so what, out of all of those people not ONE was a carpenter, or block guy, hell even a paver would know to take down the damaged towers and take that block to fill up the holes the tank created, also blocked the tombs as well to keep the walkers from coming in from the back anymore.

I know I’m just typing gibberish and I apologize, I am just really upset that NO ONE came up with a contingency plan in case of attack and they needed to bug out, it was everyone for themselves basically and it didn’t need to be like that.

PHEW! I feel a little better getting that out of my system lol. Thank you for listening!
