Why did it take me so long to find this sub!

Recipe Request

To give some context, I’m a naturally large guy who’s had a huuuuge appetite my whole life. Like to the point where people sign me up for food challenges and stuff 😅. I also eat way too fast, I find when I’m eating out with friends or family they actually stop and watch me, but I really can’t help it. I have slowed down a bit recently though.

Anyway, I recently got told by the doctor that some of my liver levels (not sure on the exact terms) were elevated and were getting quite fatty, and he has recommended I try to shift some weight. I wouldn’t say I’m fat, but I’m definitely very heavy as I carry my weight quite evenly across my who body.

I’ve always struggled with dieting for obvious reasons, even just regular calorie counting too as i struggled with the small portions being recommended, but after doing a bit of research I seen the concept of ‘volume eating’ pop up often and it intrigued me. Wow, it has been a GAME CHANGER. I can’t believe I never thought of tricking my greedy brain by just loading up large bowls of low calorie foods 😂

And now I’ve just found out there’s this sub as well, which will help even more as I’m always looking for more ideas. So if you can please drop your personal favorite volume eating go to’s in the comments, I’d love to see how creative people are!
