Thank you for the memories, DJ

DJ Lemahieu has been a part of some of my biggest core Yankee memories. I've only gotten to go to 4 Yankee games in my life. The second one was in 2022, where DJ scored on a wild pitch in extra innings to walk off the Reds.

The last game I went to was in 2024 in Philly. I went to the game expecting to see Judge do Judge things, but instead he struck out 4 times. Meanwhile, DJ had 6 RBIs to win the game 6-5 and give me fuel to trash talk all my Phillie-fan friends.

Then there's the game 7 homer against the Astros in 2019. I know the game ended badly, but I'll always remember the pure elation I felt watching that home run live.

There's so many more than this too. Despite all the complaining about him lately and his poor play, I'll always remember all the amazing moments he gave us.
