New to VR - Do All Games Have Terrible Graphics?

I’ve played a very small amount of games & they’re for the most part fun which isn’t my complaint. Every game I’ve played looks the same/low quality & the npcs are all horrible. Have I just been unlucky with my picks so far or is this the VR norm?
