Is cascade trying to change how people say detergent??

Anyone noticed the Cascade commercial when the plumber says Detergent, he pronounces the G like it sounds in ‘girl’ rather than how I’ve always pronounced it like it sounds in ‘gentlemen’. Anyone else notice??
