will apple vinegar get rid of ants?

uuh if you see this pls answer bc im freaking out. i have a huge fear of insects. ny room is a bit of a mess thanks to my depression and just earlier i saw a brownish redish idk ant, maybe he size of my pjnky finger nail which is pretty small but not as dmsll ad notmal ants. i killed it immediately and i got teccomended to wipe the area down with vinrgar but i only hsd apple vinegar. is thid okay? i saw someone else say it atrracted them and im lowkey freakiny out now.
