Traveling within the US with only a Mexican Passport

Hi everyone, My friend, who is currently in Las Vegas, wants to fly to the Carolinas to reunite with family. She’s worried about being questioned by ICE at the airport because she only has a valid Mexican passport — no other US-issued ID.

Has anyone in a similar situation traveled domestically within the US recently? Did you have any issues with immigration checks or ICE at the airport?

Any advice or experiences would really help her decide if it’s safe and recommended for her to travel right now.
