About Skye’s laptop

Does anyone know if Megan and their mum reported the laptop missing as-well? Or asked Japanese police about the laptop if they knew anything about it? If they had Skye’s laptop serial number back in 2008 it could have helped a bit in tracking her. The police could have done a lot more.

I asked my brother if you had the serial number of a laptop from years and years ago would you be able to track it. He said if the laptop is dead and someone stole it and you did have the serial number it would be possible to track it based on the last location of where it was when it ran out of battery. But I’m assuming that they possibly would have forgotten the serial number or not written it down 🤷🏼‍♀️
