Need help clutch issues

i was swapping a new clutch onto my 2017 honda grom and after i did that my clutch no longer works. my clutch line will have to be adjusted super tight to the point where it feels its gunna snap just to get the clutch to slightly disengage the motor and if i ride it it slips a bunch. any ideas or inputs would be much appreciated.

my guess is it kinda seems like the clutch basket is too far away from the clutch cover plunger bc everytime i take it off theres a little gap thats just a guess tho

need help plz ive taken it apart n put back together 45 times and i still have to do this job on my other grom😭

(ive made sure the basket is aligned) (i have a aftermarket kitaco clutch cover that ive been running for months now issue but now this)
