Axon property management discrimination

I’m really disappointed by my experience with Axon Property Management. I submitted all the required documents, proof of income, rental history, and background and was immediately denied housing solely because I attend St. Lawrence College instead of Queen’s University.

What’s especially frustrating is that the person I spoke to was actually very kind and respectful, I wasn’t denied based on anything like income or references, just the school I go to. that’s incredibly discouraging.

Students from SLC deserve the same opportunities for housing as anyone else, and it’s upsetting to be dismissed so quickly over something so unrelated to being a reliable tenant. This shouldn't exist in a city like Kingston.

If you have experience with axon what was it like for you? Do you guys know why they deny anyone that aren't queens students? Thank you!
