The Easter Egg proves that Kendrick really has been using the phrase "peekaboo" to point to Drake / XXX

This is a massive smoking gun that these "Peekaboo" connections are very deliberate and have been pre-planted

Before you listen to the audio i want you to bear a few things in mind (skip forward to

I'm going to establish two things objectively

1. Kendrick has previous for including barely audible audio Easter Eggs to point the listener to Drake

• Heart Part 4: 1.36 "Shut the fuck up, you sound like the last n**** I know (Back to Back), Might end up like the last n**** I know (Back to Back), Oh, you don't wanna clash? N****, I know (Back to Back)"
  • Don't believe me? Listen again Of course "Back to Back refers to

2. Mr. Morale and The Big Steppers is confirmed to have hidden audio easter eggs

• Listen to engineer talk about Easter Eggs designed to be found in year to come - but Kendrick wont talk about them
• "He studies every nuance, every word" "Easter Eggs that will give the songs new life" "Kendrick wont talk about them" "this song connects to this song, and to this lyric...it would blow your mind"

3. This shouldn't be news to anybody but Kendrick connects songs using common phrases, words, cadences - giving the listener little context clues to see common themes and also to establish subliminal disses as canon - pgLang era this has gone to another level, here's a few obvious examples:

• America Has A Problem (remix) - "Hold up, wait a minute" -> BET Cypher
  • Kendrick's 2013 BET Cypher verse famously claps back at Drake bitching about Kendrick's 'Control' verse in interviews and throwing subs on 'Nothing Was The Same' album
    • "Nothing been The Same since they dropped 'Control' and tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pyjama clothes
    • "Hold up, wait a minute. Your career ain't shit unless you got some Kendrick in it"
  • 10 years later Kendrick jumps on Beyonce's track and calls back to this line with the exact same cadence:
    • "Hold up, wait a minute Even AI gotta practice clonin' Kendrick"
    • This gives the listener a huge clue that the "problem" in question was Drake
  • Both verses specifically refer to Drake's career going to shit
    • BET 2013: "Your career ain't shit unless you got some Kendrick in it"
    • AHAP 2023: His career didn't come with no life insurance
  • Both verses, he threatens to get physical with Drake
    • BET 2013: "my foot in the back of your ass", "I fuck you niggas up"
    • AHAP 2023: "I'd slap homiе"
  • The "Llama/Lamar" he does in this verse is the same tone cadence as his iconic "Girl, I'm Kendrick Lamar" from "Fuckin Problems" where the Kendrick Llama memes originate from [ link]
    • Fuckin Problems also has "problem" in the title and it features Drake
  • The very obvious callback "hold up wait a minute" give the listener a prod to notice other commonalities
• euphoria - "Don't tell no lie about me and I won't tell truths 'bout you --> Heart Part 4
  • Not that there was any doubt who Kendrick was shooting at on THP4 but the intro to euphoria calls back to it and makes it even more obvious that its aimed at Drake.
  • Interestingly Heart Part 4 is the song that contains a barely audible easter egg aimed at Drake
    • 1.36 "Shut the fuck up, you sound like the last nigga I know (Back to Back), Might end up like the last nigga I know (Back to Back), Oh, you don't wanna clash? Nigga, I know (Back to Back)"
    • Go listen, the quiet vocals are embedded in the bassline - making a clear reference to Drake's Meek Mill diss 'Back to Back' to go along with other clear shots

"Peekaboo" easter egg in Count Me Out

• 2:17 - ain’t nobody but the mirror lookin for the fall off, brrrt (peeka-)

• 2:18 - i love when you count me out (peeka-)

• 3:45 - sometimes i fall for her, dawg (peeka-)

• 3:47 - i love when you count me out (peeka-)

• 3:49- i love when you count me out (peeka-) (shoo)

• 3:50 - i love when you count me out (peekaboo)

• 3:53 - (peekaboo) my name is in your mouth, Fuck it up, fuck it up, fuck it up, fuck it up, fuckin' it up (shoo shoo)

• 2:20 - i love when you count me out (peekaboo)

• 2:22 - i love when you count me out (peeka-)

• 2:34 - (peekaboo) my name is in your mouth, shoo, shoo

• the timestamps above aren't perfect but you'll definitely hear it - some of them more clear than others - but it's definitely there (I think the voice is Sam Dew but not sure)

  • Sounds slightly like an owl's "hoot"

• Bear in mind the comments from the engineer "But he wont talk about them which is a shame. I wish people would hear what he's told me about the album and how this song connects to this song and this lyric connects... this one's an answer to this question... It would blow your mind"

• this really solidifies the phrase "Peekaboo" first appearing on Silent Hill with Kodak Black before then releasing a song of that name as anything but a coincidence

• I'm going to lay out the timeline of when certain things were noticed as these things don't work linearly.

• For example, everyone speculated in September '24 what different meanings the Black Air Force 1's on the 'Watch the Party Die' cover but in June '25 it emerged that it was (among other things) likely yet another nod to XXX's death - he wore Black Air Force 1s at Rolling Loud 2018 - his last public appearance

\"We even kill the killers cos they like taking innocent lives\" - Kendrick - Black AF1s/Watch The Party Die

• The way Kendrick and Dave have planned this stuff out means people are going to understand easter eggs years later. It's important to consider not only when a song was released but when people picked up on it
• Kendrick's appearance on Carti's album on 3 tracks adding up to 30 (5+10+15 = 30 = XXX) is very significant when you consider that in the weeks previous to that speculation about him alluding to Drake's involvement in XXX's death was at an all time high after the superbowl

Timeline of Where We Are

• May 2024 - Reddit users claim to discover that a number registered to Jacquavius D Smith aka GlokkNine (associate of YNW Melly) was listed as that of Adel Nur (exec-producer of Euphoria), on the directory of Drake's Omerta Creative LLC (produced Euphoria) and that he had also signed a $2 million deal with Cash Money a month after the murder.
  • It is definitely interesting that YNW Melly is an associate of Glokknine and that he gets a mention on euphoria
  • It's also interesting that Robert Allen who took a plea deal in the XXX murder trial is also a witness in the YNW Melly case
  • It is also noted that Kodak Black who appeared on Kendrick's Mr Morale album, shared a cell with Dedrick Chucky Williams and is also an associate of YNW Melly
  • This post from May 2024 alleging that on euphoria, Kendrick is referring to Drake's ongoing involvement in the XXX murder case is treated with scepticism - there probably wasn't enough at the time to solidly make this connection - Kendrick would surely say something more direct/obvious?
• 11 September 2024 - Kendrick releases 'Watch The Party Die / Black Air Forces' throwaway on insta
• October 2024 - rumour with details about Glokknine & Ski Mask sending two different teams after XXX (Drake's doing) from notorious anonymous user in this sub - thuglifevol3
• 22 November 2024 - Kendrick Lamar drops GNX surprise album, including song Peekaboo
• 30 November 2024 - Dedrick "Chuckie" Williams , (convicted as X's killer)'s lawyer files an appeal against judge's U-turn on Drake's deposition after Drake was previously subpoenaed to testify in XXX's murder trial in Feb 2023
• December 2024 - Thoughtcrimez on youtube makes connection
  • "Peekaboo" is also a lyric on Silent Hill feat. Kodak Black. Ken likes to connect his songs this way
    • Kodak Black was the tattoo artist of aforementioned Dedrick Williams
    • "Give your fellow man a helping hand" sample at the beginning - a probable nod to Drake's infamous trolling of XXX's Helping Hand challenge in the God's Plan video
  • It was covered by The Company Man, a respected journalist
• Highly likely that Kendrick and team were aware of these rumours - interesting how he proceeds after this point
• 9th February 2025 - Kendrick really doubles down on these rumoured XXX connections by performing Peekaboo in a giant red 'X' with "30" visible inside it (XXX = 30).
• 16th February 2025 - I post my Peekaboo/Superbowl analysis here compiling my own interpretations along with stuff I had seen online and it goes huge - don't continue unless you've read it
  • I had already been writing it before the Superbowl - then his performance reiterated and confirmed so many things beyond doubt
  • Playstation motif - designed to bring to mind XXX's Helping Hand challenge where he handed out PS 5s
  • Huge number of references to XXX/Drake beef laid out
  • Easter Eggs pre-planted years in advance is big part of pgLangs strategy and concept (Goes as far back as 2021's Melodic Blue and 2022's Mr. Morale)
  • Keem's Trademark USA seems to make reference to Glokknine's strange alleged links to one of Drake's LLC
• March 2025 - I make a follow up post with things I missed/forgot/since realised
  • verified (as best I could) the post saying that rapper Glokknine's phone number is listed under the name of Adel Nur Drake's partner on Omerta Creative LLC - the company that created Euphoria (tv)
  • tv motif designed to make you question why Kendrick named his diss track 'euphoria'
  • I discover huge smoking gun of Keem's 'Highway 95' from The Melodic Blue being a nod to Glokknine's clumsy and suspicious admission on DJ Vlad that he was pulled over between Broward County (where X was killed) and Florida the day of the murder.
    • The name of the motorway connecting the two is Highway 95
• March 2025 - Kendrick and team 100% know about the rumours at this point - have no doubt
  • my first Peekaboo post had 100k views, there were other more viral posts on twitter, tiktok, youtube
  • there are youtube videos with 5 million views, others with 9 million views pointing out obvious references to XXX - screenshot
  • At this point, Kendrick is definitely aware that the internet thinks he is pointing to the Drake/XXX beef. His next moves are particularly interesting with that in mind.
• March 2025 - Kendrick collabs on tracks 5, 10, 15 on Carti's album (5+10+15 = XXX)
  • Fully aware that people are going through his work through the Drake/XXX lense, he makes it even more obvious
  • If you think Kendrick wouldn't use numerology in this way - you need to see what Kat Webber said about her work on the Luther video
  • The songs seem to overtly reference Ski Mask The Slump God and XXX ("members only riding through the backdoor") and back up what u/thuglifevol3 said back in October 2024 about Ski Mask giving up X's location (link below to breakdown)
• 22nd April - Dissect podcast did a detailed Superbowl breakdown and briefly covered the XXX allusions - "XXX'ED OUT" 45:41 link
  • If you don't want to take the word of random redditors or youtubers, how about the renowned Kendrick/hiphop lyric decoder Cole Cuchna of 'Dissect'
  • He says he's not comfortable going into it in detail (understandable) but it's clear he believes it
  • He discusses some of the more obvious connections:
  • "When Kendrick performed Peekaboo in a giant red X - it added a tonne of fuel to the theory"
  • "Obvious X connection" "X is placed directly on 30yard line, roman numeral of which is XXX" "the 4 women have split dyed hair which XXX popularised" - see pic
  • then he segues to avoid more XXX talk
  • "There does seem to be enough allusions to XXX to warrant speculation. It also fits perfectly with the afterlife theme".
    • He's an expert on dissecting Kendrick and you can tell he believes it, watch for yourself
• GNX tour starts Kendrick doubles down on the playstation/X references - playstation stage and giant 'X' chain
• 6th May 2025 - I breakdown the references to Ski Mask The Slump God, mainly on Kendrick's collabs with Carti but also establish that '16' by Keem alludes to this too
  • I realise that 'Stupid' - where they throw X's in the air refers to Ski's tweets about "stupid" Drake/XXX conspiracies
• 9th May 2025 - Great post by Annie 'PEEKABOO! / Unpacking the pgLang's Creative Strategy' - even main Kendrick sub were super impressed and couldn't deny the deliberate allusions to XXX
  • Comments full of praise and people starting to realise that this is very real
  • Text posts mentioning Drake or XXX get automatically banned on the Kendrick sub - this has been an obstacle in getting some of this info to the mainstream fans
  • Annie has more on the way - this video trailer looks ominous if you're Drake and you want this info to stay suppressed - HOW 2 HIDE A BODY - watch this space
• 16 June 2025 - Thuglifevol3 pops out for first time in months - comments on initial Peekaboo post with Tupac gif - signalling something is about to happen?
• 18 June 2025 - anniversary of XXX death - Clipse release 'So Be It'
  • adding to the web of connections with pgLAng, clear references to Keem/Kendrick songs/videos and saying "Ski" 3 times

• 21 June 2025 - while writing Keem post I realise 'Backdoor' referencing Ski Mask (read Ski Mask post) is a play on 'Front Door' by Glokknine (which references Drake)
  • Establishes some pretty obvious Drake subliminals on The Melodic Blue before explaining how they support the more subtle pre-planted easter eggs - hinting at Glokknine, Drake, Ski Masks possible involvements in XXX's death
  • I fully transcribe the relevant bits of Glokknine's interview - extremely damning - please don't continue until you've watched it along with my transcript of it (see Keem post) - its only few minutes. There's no way you think he's 100 clean
• June 2025 - u/jenko26 notices hidden "peekaboo" vocals in Count Me Out 0 further tying these songs together
  • to the average Dark Kenny reader its probably another nice little detail
  • but this is another huge smoking gun that none of this is by accident and a lot of this has been planned out for years
• July 2025 - (s/o u/Apprehensive-Gas3229) - Stumbles accross an old reddit post - shows the shoes XXX wore in last public appearance - a pair of Black AF1s - similar to those on Kendrick's Watch The Party Die

Playstation/childrens game/nursery rhyme motif

• I can't stress enough how these Peekaboo vocals running through Count Me Out validate the connections youtubers and redditors alike have made in Kendrick's music between Drake and XXX

• Before I discuss 'Count Me Out' - I'm gonna run through a visual summary of some connections

• Peekaboo: the "helping hand" sample points to Drake trolling XXX's helping hand challenge both on insta and in the Gods Plan video

  • "Peekaboo" - says it 17 times - Kendrick publicly praised XXX's album 17 upon release

• the playstation motif (see Superbowl and GNX tour stages) further points to the Helping Hand challenge - where XXX famously handed out Playstations

  • Performed 'peekaboo' in a giant red X button

• Silent Hill (which features Kodak Black) is an iconic video game sampled by XXX twice

• Silent Hill: "You funny, dog Peek-a-boo, can't hide behind your monеy, dog"

Hide (aka 'vent')/ Truth/Lies / Mask / Betrayal

• I've already established in this post and in others that Kendrick likes to connect songs with common phrases, cadences, words etc.

• In my first Peekaboo post I noted that Count Me Out, N95 both had the same "shoos" made iconic on 'euphoria' , thereby connecting the 3 songs very clearly and deliberately.

• N95, Count Me Out, euphoria also connected by theme of truth/lies

  • euphoria: " I can smell the tales on you now" "habitual liar too" "don't tell no lie about me and I won't tell truths 'bout you" "Speakin' the truth...you don't know nothin' 'bout that"
  • Count Me Out: "how you gon' win my trust when the lies run deep?"
  • N95: "I got some true stories to tell You're back outside, but they still **lied", "**take off the flex and the white lies" "Can I vent all my truth?"
    • To "vent" means to hide - please read original post

• The 3 songs are further tied by the theme of "masks"

  • N95 (named after a literal surgical mask)
  • Count Me Out (a song about the masks we wear to hide who we are inside).
  • euphoria is a song that about removing the mask that Drake wears, refers to his "superpowers getting neutralised".

• vent (song on Melodic Blue and a lyric from N95) is a reference to Hide N Seek mode of Among Us

  • Note the similarity between "Hide N Seek2 and "Peekaboo" - and also how it ties into the playstation motif
  • First peekaboo post delves into wider childrens game/nursery rhyme motif
  • In the Hide n Seek game mode "vent" is renamed "Hide". In this mode, everyone can hide except "the imposter"
  • According to the Among Us wiki: Can I "vent" all my truth = Can I "hide" all my truth
  • The rules of the game literally state the imposter cannot hide.

• Note too that during the game of Peekaboo, you momentarily "hide"

  • Silent Hill "peekaboo cant hide behind your money dawg"

• Discussed the theme of Betrayal in part 1

  • Among Us is a game of Betrayal where you use social deduction to distinguish between Crewmembers and imposters
  • Baby Keem kisses Kendrick on the cheek in the N95 music video referencing The Kiss of Judas, the Betrayal of Christ
  • More recently, Clipse visuals have been tying closely to Keems work - including '16' - which possibly alludes to Ski Mask's alleged betrayal of XXX

Summary

• I think one of the main takeaways is that Kendrick is saying "I see you" "the imposter can't hide" and he is peeling back the layers/mask slowly and subtly with all these interwoven songs and videos
• The Clipse album drops tomorrow - maybe we can expect one or two references to some of the above (I'm not listening to the leak)
• Dont get it twisted - these Peekaboo background vocals are significant and back up everything posted on this account and elsewhere
  • Although it was already clear, it really proves that this Peekaboo/childrens game/playstation/nursery rhyme motif was planned years in advance to pull the veil back on Drake / XXX
  • Also, the Black Air forces being the shoe that XXX wore in his last performance is also significance - there;s no way you can deny the core connections at this point - even if you're not on board with the Ski Mask / Clipse stuff.
