The RH Club Series Release
This is something new I am trying out. It’s a series of courses, in different locations with different course themes, all managed by the same company. I was inspired by Reef Capital Partners from the recent Bob Does Sports videos, filmed at Black Desert Resort.
Up first is The RH Club at Meadowlark. This is a country style course with tight fairways and a significant amount of water. From the tips she measured in just over 7,000 yards, but don’t let this shorter course fool you. While unassuming, she has teeth thanks to the defense of her greens. Your approach shots must be on point if you want to break par. Set the wind to low and experience the gentle breeze rolling across her calm waters.
Next on the docket is the RH Club at Fox Run. Set in the temperate mountains of Washington, she has wide fairways sprinkled with bunkers. You better be accurate, as anything slightly off results in a minefield of trees that skirt the fairway perimeter. She measures in just under 7,500 yards from the tips, so you better bring your big stick if you want to score well.
The RH Club at Stonewall is the third, and most visually intimidating course. She is set along the cliffs in the Scottish highlands, only accessible by boat. This links course is strewn with pot bunkers and the fairways are full of undulations, so good look getting a shot off of flat ground. She has a significant amount of elevation gain across her 7,500 yard, and while her greens are slow, you better be able to read them well. If not, you will repeatedly experience the dreaded three putt, thanks to her vicious slopes. For those looking to have that authentic experience, set your wind to high and listen to the waves crash on the cliffs.
The final course on this list is the flagship, The RH Club at Sidewinder. Measuring in at just over 7,300 yards from the tips, she is set in the arid Arizona mountains. Her postage stamp greens are blanked by fairway, so as long as you can chip and pitch, you will probably make it out with par. However, miss in the wrong location and you are facing at the worst shot of your life, thanks to the positions of the greens and surrounding bunkers. Holes 3, 4, and 12 offer up temptation for you gamblers, if you dare to gain some strokes.
As will all my courses, pin locations get progressively harder, so 4 is for that Sunday flavor if you really hate yourself. Hope you enjoy, sorry I could not provide good pictures due to the limitations of building on PS5. As always, any feedback or constructive criticism is welcome and will likely help to improve future courses!
