Widget or Software to Spoon-feed C-suite and Executives info and updates on Facility projects? does such a thing exist ?
Hi FM's. So here's my dilemma. I work at a large private education facility. Facilities is the 3rd largest cost category after payroll and education programming. We have four C-suite folks who are all curious about what I do and are always asking to sit down for an update. I know what you are thinking, that is valuable face time..... Except these are the kind of people you don't want to have a standing 1 hour meeting with. They are insufferable and I'd rather just send them weekly data dumps. I don't have time to chit-chat with these fools. I maintain a beautiful campus and am in the midst of a lot of interesting projects. Rooftop garden, new parking extension with dedicated chargers/solar carports, water harvesting walk-ways..... Cool stuff. So I get the curiosity, but they also want me to send updates of each project to the Administration staff of around 50 people, every week. Ain't nobody got time for that. Is there a software package that can create a clean one-sheet for each of my projects on a weekly basis? And will not incur a subscription fee per user? I do not want to deal with mondays/Asana/Trello. Those are for managing internal teams and assigning tasks. They require back-end programming. I need something that can create a Donald Trump type briefing document. SMALL WORDS - WITH SIMPLE pictures. no back-end loading of assignees/role and responsibilities. Something that integrates with Outlook would be great so anyone can get the briefing with their morning e-mail scan. I need an app that SPOON-FEEDS STUPID PEOPLE information. Anyone have a good solution to satisfy our non-technical overlords?
