Rebranding the KKK
Democrats founded the KKK.
Democrats are now saying they need to rebrand their party.
They can't or won't see it this way, because that they say is ancient history. Or the parties switched at some point. Maybe so.
But Democrats are still historically connected to the KKK, and maybe even more importantly, the whole fighting a devastating and bloody Civil War for the right to keep slavery in tact.
The whole "party of the working class" from this perspective makes Democrats sound much more like slave owners - which they were - and they still have a very condescending attitude towards those of non-white races.
Even non-white Democrats end up with a kind of white supremacist rhetoric.
SO. DO. THE. REPUBLICANS.
Let me get that out of the way.
THEY. GOT. THEIR. REBRAND.
It became Trump.
They are going to pay for that dearly over time.
But, the Democrats are LESS POPULAR than Trump, who is losing popularity by the second all over the world. It is so bad people can't even fathom it, which is partially why he keeps the Epstein thing around, to distract from his exemplary ability to fail as the President.
They want to "rebrand," which is to say, change their window dressing.
A different shade of lipstick on the same pig.
A mish-mash intersectional identity.
But nothing different substantively.
That won't work.
Not anymore.
If Democrats stand a chance, they are going to have to contend with their dark past and figure out how to move on from it, but not by running from it or simply announcing it is in the past.
They will have to abandon their idols like Obama or Biden, and the Clintons.
Schumer, Pelosi, Jeffries, and the rest of them too.
Because that isn't just the old brand. Those are the gutless cowards who pretend to stand up to Trump just to move real opposition out of his way.
Either the Democratic party should be entirely abandoned as a lost cause, or somebody needs to clean house, admit it was built on bad blood and evil, and vow to change it by being different.
I would rather see it die on the vine, personally.
Nothing good has come out of this party in a long time, and I mean a LONG time.
Just because your mom or grandpa is sentimental about Jack Kennedy and Al Gore doesn't mean the nation should suffer at the hands of Republicans and fake opposition.
We need to eradicate the power of both parties.
What an antiquated idea, a political party. . .
