Why didn't I get charged for bus fares?

I visited singapore last week and used the bus to go pr a ctically everywhere. I rode the bus mayb 3-4 times a day over 4 days using my mastercard to touch on and off.

I checked my bank statement and I saw that I have not been charged once throughout my stay. Are bus services free or was there some mistake?
