I think I read somewhere that on settlement day we need to pre-pay interest on our homeloan? This payment covers the period between settlement day and the first mortgage payment.

I think read the above somewhere but now I can't find it.

I've read so much and I'm spiralling. Will obviously reach out to bank on Monday but just hoping someone can help in the meantime.
