question about lightstick

hi! i’ve had my v1 lightstick for years and have taken it with me for the sweet mirage and promise tours, but did have some small problems getting it to sync during the promise concert bcs it was a little out dated so i wanted to know if i should buy the v2 since i plan on attending the tomorrow tour.
