My problem with the holy grail war (barely knew much of fate so correct me if needed)

I almost fell asleep cause how most of the quest was silent despite switching to jp. I get Mr reca or Grady is the assassin role and is suppose to user different ways to fight the other servants but like wtf why a silent film. It could have worked with just black and white. Also why is caster an NPC, why can't she be like sioban more detailed like damn it's so copy paste feeling. Also why does it feel so empty outside combat, like damn it was a snoozefest.

I am still unaware of fate but I feel it sucked (I still love archer and saber as usits and characters) but like wow did it suck ass. I get it trying to tie to penacony.

I wanted a story about the fate characters and surrounding them (I get saber is like that but it felt so eeehhhhhhh)

Again if I got some fate knowledge wrong please tell me
