Storytime

I went on a little putt-putt, 18 miles on my Harley, to a bar, all back roads, just needed to clear my head. Didn't drink, just ice tea tonight, and just hung out. Turns out there was a Sheriff's Deputy there that needed someone to vent to.

On the way home, I see this gal with a scooter off the road, so I swing behind her between her and traffic and ask if she's okay. She said her phone was dying and she was trying to write down directions before it did. I asked where she was trying to go and gave her the lay of the land where she was, and it turns out she was headed the wrong way. Looks like she had groceries; possibly there were a lot of bags. I asked if she wanted to use the charger on my bike to charge her phone; she said no. I stayed until she said she had her directions and said I helped quite a bit because she was all turned around, but she was good now. Thought about asking if she wanted me to escort her at least out of the dark farm roads until she made it to town, but she seemed a little uneasy about a big guy on a Harley, so I left once she said she was okay. Hope she made it. I don't care what you ride; always help another rider if you can; never know when you might need it.
