Lowell Debt Collections Northern Ireland

Hi I keep receiving letters calls, email etc from Lowell alleging owe a debt to BT of 800£ from a few years ago I have asked them to send me proof of this in the post etc but get nothing back. I instructed them I need to seek advice on what this all about and they stated they will put the account on hold.

I checked there website to look for attached documents but there is none, only a few details of a contract. I also checked my credit score and nothing is on there from bt but there is a mark from Lowell in 2023?

Ive seen so many reviews online that these are scammers and bullies trying to chase old or non existing debts.

They are now treating to pass on to their legal team, I called them up once again to ask for documents of all this is the post and as I said before the account is on hold.

They threaten that this could lead to court and a ccj? Ive never been to court before and this is terrifying.

Does anyone in Northern Ireland have any experience with this company?

I have a serious mental health condition and on benefits and this has made things so much worse,I cant eat or sleep.

I would be grateful if anyone could help advise me on this?
