Just moved back

Just moved back to t bar I need to make some friends. Would love to meet other couples as my partner and I like to play board games, gaming. Not into going out on the town being a neuro divergent person I thrive on intelligent conversation it’s hard to make friends because of the things I’m passionate about people probably think I wish this you would shut up. I find people are interested in talking to me and being friendly from an acquaintance perspective but it never goes further. I feel it’s like trying to get blood out of a stone sometimes with people. Not being an over confident person I’m lost as to where to try and make friends. Where to go how do my partner and I make friends with other like minded people?
