To preface, this is only my second ever PC build, my current rig is rocking a 1080 Ti and a Ryzen 5 3600.

I’m mainly a video editor working with 4K H.265 footage, primarily in DaVinci Resolve, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro. I do a lot of color grading with a plugin called Dehancer, and even though I edit off proxies, my 1080 Ti is definitely showing its age. It’s been going strong for nearly a decade, but it’s starting to struggle (and sag a bit too, literally).

Additionally, I game casually, with titles like Valorant, Minecraft, Peak, and I’ve been wanting to dive into COD Warzone (*but my shi too slow).*

Given my circumstances, I’m trying to figure out where it makes the most sense to upgrade. I want something that handles my editing workflow well without completely blowing the budget. Where should I be putting my money first? And are there areas where I can reasonably save without bottlenecking performance too much?

I’ve also been dabbling with the idea of an all-white build *mainly (for the aesthetic)* but I’m not married to it, if it limits my options or adds unnecessary cost. I'm hawking the 5070 Ti for the GPU *(if I can snag it at MSRP, lol*). I’m also aware I’m currently on a micro-ATX board, but I’m totally open to going bigger if it means better value or upgrade flexibility.

Would love to hear your thoughts or advice based on my use case and setup \~ Thanks!
