Green Doug Fir & Ready Seal

My Contractor used green Doug fir no.2’s to build a small deck. I went ahead and applied one coat of Ready Seal not knowing about moisture content. I realize now that the manufacturer says wood should be kiln dried or air dried. Learned about moisture meters after the fact. What do you think will be the outcome of this? Thanks for the help.
