Seeking Beta Readers!

I’m looking for a few beta readers to check out the first 3 chapters of my story. It's my first one. (I don't plan on publishing until I get a cover, chap 4 is in the works but you can ignore that when reading):
Title: “Not the CEO’s Lover.”

Genre: Corporate Intrigue, Slow-Burn Romance, Revenge Drama

Inspired by the Korean novel “I’m Not the Final Boss’s Lover” and a variety of other media such as Scandal, The Devil Wears Prada, Kill Bill, The Glory.

Synopsis:
Working for CEO Silvius Silvern was just a job. Now his puppy-like devotion has the whole company convinced Abena's his lover—but her past could destroy everything they've built.

It's about MC, Abena, who has been blacklisted. She takes a job under an infamous CEO, Silvius Silvern, (LI), and is, of course, amazing at her job. But her opps don't like that and start messing around with the company and her life, and she eventually decides she's gonna get revenge. (this is a very simplified version of what the story's about.)

What to Expect:

Choice-Driven, with a points system. (You get to determine how she gets revenge. Will she be merciful, or vengeful? She's going to get revenge either way, you just shape it.)

It's a Mercy vs. Vengeance system. So the choices u make will overall shape her character throughout the story (there's no wrong way to go about it. just do what u like)

Limited CC for Abena (only for her skin color, (may add some more choices) but everything else is customizable). Full CC for LI, with a disclaimer.

What I'm Looking For:

• Honest feedback on pacing, characters, and tone

• Are you hooked by Chapter 3? Or is it boring as hell?

• Notes on anything confusing or off

• Optional: grammar/typo help

My main concern rn is chapter 2.
