Manhattan bars where people actually dance to songs with words

I've lived in the city for four years, but I'm struggling to find a reliable bar in Manhattan that doesn't feel too young (late 20s gal here), plays pop/throwback/hip hop/dance music that actually has words you can sing along to. Not a club but a place where people actually dance and have fun. Any recs???? Is this too much to ask for these days???
