I love 'Everything'

I hated it when I first listened to it. I was just so confused by it. But listening to it more, it's mainly grown on me because of how on-edge and anxious it makes me feel. The song seems to perfectly describe the state of desperately running towards a happy place, even if it does feel hollow or 'fake.' The speed of the 'happy' first section of the song feels too clingy and desperate, as if Trent has convinced himself he's there when he truly isn't. Then finally the song dissolves into a state of chaos, as this happy facade collapses and the darker thoughts begin to return, distorting this happy image into what sounds like a panic attack. Anyway, thanks for reading!
