How I found consistent, reliable editors without hiring in-house
Hey all 👋
I manage a small content-focused brand and recently hit a point where editing was slowing down our momentum. We needed help — but not enough to hire someone full-time.
So I tested a few platforms, and Fiverr surprisingly delivered. What worked well for me: • I could test different editors without long-term commitment • Most gigs offered 24–72 hr delivery — great for fast-paced content • It was easier to find editors who specialize in YouTube Shorts or long-form • I got decent results even with smaller budgets (under $100/edit)
Of course, not every editor was a fit. But once I found 2–3 reliable ones, it made a massive difference in output and consistency.
If anyone’s looking for editing help but doesn’t want to commit to hiring or managing a team, this route might be worth a try.
Happy to share the links to the editors I’ve used if that’s helpful.
