[TOMT] [POEM] Poem about coming across some enemy and choosing to forgive him.
There's a poem an old friend read to me around 2013. I believe it was a translation into English from another language, possibly arabic. The poem discussed what the author would do if he came across this enemy that wronged him (possibly killed a loved one?). I remember it reading somewhat like a list of family members and friends that this enemy might have that would make the author not want to kill him. The one I remember most distinctly was that if this enemy had a father that 'would worry if this man was late for a meeting they had set for even half an hour' (paraphrasing), he would not want to kill him. The last part of the poem said if the enemy had no family or friends at all, he still would not kill him because such an existence was already suffering enough.
