Credit card applications keep being denied

I’ve submitted several applications over the months this year and they have each been denied. I’ve applied for capital one which was denied because of insufficient funds and income which I thought $3,000 was fine but apparently not. I’ve also applied for discovery which I have been having back to back issues with. The first few times were my fault, as I didn’t realize that all the information wasn’t correct. I’ve tried applying through my banks automatic login and through entering my banking information which each was declined. I’ve called my personal bank SECU and was told that it isn’t anything on their part and I’ve called discovery and I’ve been given the same response that the information that I’ve put in was wrong. Just to make sure everything was correct I downloaded the app to get access to both my transit and routing number and somehow I get a letter back stating the same issue. I don’t know what else to do at this point and I have no idea how I will be able to build credit in the future.
