IF DevOps Will Die, do you have an Alternative?

Folks, I have a theory.

AI Made us at least 50% more productive.
+ we had layoffs, lets say 20% of Big-tech was laid off due to covid over hiring.

that adds up is 70% .. so it 3.3x times harder to get a job

Given that AI will advance we can speculate this multiple get as high as 5-10x.

The math is brutal, I'm in the same fuckin slowly sinking boat with all of you so lets talk alternatives. I know most of us love what we do BUT when you are unemployed or have a constant threat of being automated by AI all that love goes out of the window.
