Snacks are pointless for max players

Getting snacks that boost troops, heroes and pets as a max player. Is like buying a 1 pound scratch card and winning 1 pound back.

It's pointless. All my troops are maxed all my heroes are maxed and all my pets are maxed. The treasure chest gives you snacks to max them. Why?
