AITA for writing on the wall with a sharpie?
Usually I (male, 5) try to wake up mom by 6am. Rather than be appreciative that I’m trying to include her by letting her prepare my breakfast, she usually tells me to go back to sleep. Apparently it’s ok for me to starve literally to death for one hour until her alarm goes off because she needs more sleep after staying up late doomscrolling. Yesterday, however, mom woke me up. When she pulled back my blanket, she discovered 9 little Debbie wrappers and 4 empty applesauce pouches that I had placed there one hour earlier. Rather than thank me for feeding myself so she could sleep longer, she told me I had made a bad choice. Two hours later in the car line at school, I yeeted all over myself and the back of the passenger seat. Usually I hate puking, but for some reason this had a nice chocolaty aftertaste. Rather than console me in this traumatic moment, she started crying and said “of course he just puked”. Although I’d clearly done nothing wrong, I felt bad mom had cried, so I decided to do something special for her. I snuck a sharpie into my bed, and wrote “SORRY” in big letters on my wall and drew lots of hearts and also a dog. In the morning when she came in, rather than embrace me for this kind and selfless act, she got angry and said I’m not allowed to use sharpies anymore and no iPad for three days. AITA?
