Looking for authentic Maharashtrian restaurant recs in Thane/Mumbai!

Hi, I want to take my South Indian boyfriend to a restaurant that serves authentic Maharashtrian food, something that’ll really give him a taste of local flavors. Preferably somewhere in or around Thane, but Mumbai recs are totally welcome too!

Would love recommendations for places that serve great thalis, misal, kombdi vade, or even seafood specialties. Bonus if the place has a nice vibe or is a hidden gem!
