Would you support a unifrom criminal law across the US?

Germany is also a federation but major laws are almost exclusivelly passed by the federal government and enforced by state police and prisons are also operated by states. So the complete opposite of the US where states do NOT have to enforce federal law.

This way law is uniform across the country but also there is no big centralized police force.
