By day I’m in a pretty serious bloke, but off the clock, I find myself craving the kind of connection that’s more about tension than extremes. You know, those moments that linger… a brush of the knee on a plane, eye contact that lasts just a bit too long, the kind of slow burn that builds without needing to rush into anything.

Once, on a long flight, I sat next to this beautiful, quietly playful woman. We started chatting and she asked where I was from, and the conversation drifted effortlessly from there. At some point, our feet accidentally touched. I was in sneakers, she just in socks. I took mine off slowly, barefoot now, and let my foot gently find hers again. A little back-and-forth turned into something more intentional… my toes tracing her ankle, then slowly up her calf. Eventually, her socks slipped off too. Neither of us saying much, but fully tuned in. That kind of heat? It stays with you.
