The longest over gone in almost a decade.

I’m at the point where I have surpassed all previous attempts to stay sober and each day is the longest I’ve gone. It’s kinda like when Samwise steps off the shire in LOTR. He notes the it’s the furthest he’s ever been away from home. Each strap after that is the furthest he’s ever gone. Same for me. It’s been about ten years since I was consistently and regularly sober for weeks or months at a time. Sobriety can also be addictive strangely enough.
