Can you see gunshots if enemy is using flash-hider?

So, I am doing quite a bit of modding when it comes to lights right now, and flash hider on user side works extremely well, much better than real life, while no flash hider attached is very close to real life representation from the user side

How hard is it to see enemy firing with a flash hider past sunset in your experience?

Is it next to impossible to trace the firing, or can you still see the enemy firing?
