Do you take the job that pays more of the job where you get along with people really well?

Hi ladies,

I’m currently working at a job I enjoy and have friends at but it doesn’t pay all that well and the boss is a bit of a douche. I’ve recently been offered a position at a new place in the same field in a role that pays a lot more but involves night shifts, weekends and new people.

If you could go back in time or even now… Do you keep the job that brings happiness but doesn’t pay well or the job that pays well but potentially doesn’t bring happiness. But I could work less and potentially have more outside of work happiness.

Side note: my current job pays the bills and my partner and I still have a little left over for the occasional treat or getaway.
