bartholin gland excision

i had a bartholin gland excision yesterday. i’d been dealing with a bartholin cyst for approx 6 years, and after a marsupialization in december which gave me temporary relief but ultimately the cyst came back, i decided to have an excision. it’s been less than 24 hours.

the pain is unbearable. i’ve been taking advil, tylenol, and the pain meds they prescribed me (naproxin i believe), as well as icing the area to try and reduce swelling, but nothing is working. i haven’t been able to sleep and i can hardly move and walk around without pain. it feels like somebody’s slicing me open. please, does anybody have anything that will ease the pain and give me some relief? i’m desperate for at least a little sleep. tyia
