Any opinions on stage 3 for the Engineering Degree?
I'm going to apply for the top-up degree. I was wondering how hard some people found the course work. Am I right that you have to select 120 credits worth of modules? If so then my short list would be this:
- Mathematical methods and fluid mechanics
- Structural integrity: predicting and assessing performance
- Deterministic and stochastic dynamics
- and the mandatory engineering project
Would this be too much? Am I choosing the hard mode?
I have a HND in mechanical engineering and from what I'm gathering all of this seems pretty similar to that, but I'm not sure of how big of a step change it would be.
