Bertha’s Opps

I’ve seen other posts about the way Bertha’s character is written in S3, comparatively, and why she’s so unlikable now. Well here’s my take.. in the other seasons, she was still narcissistic and shallow BUT her opposition felt worse.

Even though I never liked her, I always found myself rooting for her to win (which she always does…🙃). Mrs. Astor needed to be knocked off her high horse and Turner was soooo unlikeable and slimy. In this season, her main opps are the members of her own family 😭 like you’re bullying your sweet daughter and backstabbing your supportive AF husband, girl are you good?? It makes it impossible to root for her when her opps are the people I am rooting for, and we barely liked you to begin with.
