Black stool?

31, Female, USA, 145lbs 5’3

Medications: Adderall 25mg XR once a day, Adderall 10mg IR once a day. No supplements.

I’m in relatively good health. Moderate exercise. Moderate alcohol intake (although I’ve been drinking more the last week because I was on vacation - did not travel out of state or out of country). I do regularly vape (nicotine only) for about a year now. Former cigarette smoker (2011-2019). No drug use.

I have been experiencing hemorrhoids intermittently for the last year or so - have not seen a doctor about this because they seem to resolve themselves and the bleeding is not excessive. However, yesterday and today I had very dark stool and pain while pooping. Hard stool each time, very dark in color (almost black - more black than brown), shiny, and the smell is absolutely horrible. I’ve never experienced something like this before and I’m obviously worried.

I did take advil after drinking two nights ago but I have done that in the past and nothing happened. I can provide a photo of the stool if needed but it’s pretty gross.
