Change my mind: Firearms are overated

Theyre bulky and heavy, the sights are not that great, slow you down- and you have to constantly search for ammunition for what would otherwise be a very heavy paperweight in your inventory. Nothing short of moose and bear pelts are locked behind firearms- when deer and rabbit pelts are free when wolves get them or snares and rock throwing exists.
